Anchorage Digital holds the distinction of being the first federally chartered crypto bank in the US, receiving its charter from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). This designation establishes it as a qualified custodian under federal banking law. Headquartered in San Francisco, it also holds licenses in Singapore (Major Payment Institution from MAS) and New York (BitLicense).
